What to Expect

Nervous System Education
Each workshop includes a brief educational segment focused on how the nervous system shapes the experience of chronic pain. This opening is led by nervous system educator Jessa Hooley.
This portion of the workshop is designed to provide clarity and reassurance, helping participants better understand their lived experience and feel more informed and supported in their care—while gently encouraging a renewed sense of trust in their body and intuition, something many people with chronic pain have been taught to doubt.

Experiential Practice
Each workshop offers a guided experiential practice where you’ll learn a simple, accessible tool to support your nervous system. Practices may include somatic awareness, gentle movement, or breath-based techniques.
These practices are designed to be transferable beyond the workshop, offering participants evidence-informed tools that support long-term nervous system resilience and can influence the experience of chronic pain over time.

Sound Healing
We close each workshop with a sound healing practice, often referred to as a sound bath. During this experience, you’ll be immersed in vibrations designed to help your nervous system slow down so chronically held tension patterns can relax.
Sound baths are not something you “do,” but something you receive. Many people describe this portion of the workshop as deeply restful, grounding, or spacious. You’re welcome to lie down with pillows and blankets, sit upright, or move gently—listening to what your body needs in the moment.
